Boot Laplace, a Cibosan who is Myxotar enhanced, is a renegade member of the Dynatic, former reporter who wrote many long articles about the Tendrils of Mooldor, covered the transit of the Spaldox to a new world by Tsoami and members of the Firestorm, and is leading the Rebellion of the Juunyar on Arpaio.

Contents

Physical Appareance

Suave, swashbuckling, and bisexual. For the jackal species of Cibosan, he has some of the tallest ears ever seen, considered to be a genetic defect, but some say that they have led him to good things in life as he was able to hear out and sense important events happening around him. He stands at about 6'2", a touch overweight, and he is also completely clad in a Rubberizing Agent, similar to Hierarchy Steels (slaves of the Hierarchy), but when asked about it, he merely says that he "understands" what's at stake and leaves it at that. He moves fast, quick on his feet, but seems to have a compassion for people down to a fault.

Other Trivia

  • He loves raspberries. The berries, not the belly blowing thing.

Career In The Dynatic

It is not known how old Boot Laplace is or when he joined the Dynatic, but he has covered a number of significant events of the sector, including the Shyedarian Rebellion, the Saruasee Trials, and even is rumored to have been around during the Rshast Expansion into the ring of the Annulus. His writing was considered some of the best, absolutely brilliant, even his coverage of the Shedarian liberation from the Reichians was considered first rate, earning him the Neeley Award for Excellent Event Coverage of the Galactic Year.

Sometime in recent events, he has stopped writing for the Dynatic and has generally, for all intents and purposes, has disappeared into obscurity.

Classified

His career took a turn for the underhanded, rebellion, and general disapproval of his peers after he started to investigate and report on the Heirarchy. It is rumored that his involvement with the Cratif forced the Dynatic to take a hand in stepping in and preventing the annexation of the Cratif into the Heirarchy. The battle involved combative exchanges between the Hygapst and Dein on the Heirarchy Side facing the Cratif, Myxotar, and some Mercenary Rshast on the side opposing annexation. The War took a number of steps and against all odds, the Cratif came out victorious in the end despite all odds (which were running 1 million to 1 against in local bettering circles). Laplace covered many battles, including the event on Staton IV in which Rocko was forced into exile from his people. Laplace's article eventually led to Rocko having a excellent career with the CIS under Tsoami and in most circles has convinced many that Rocko was indeed a hero at the end of the day (most of the exile action was due to gross losses of equipment in order to save lives and willfully giving up a strategic location, no matter how hopeless it was).

Oddly, on the Heirarchy side, no wreckage was ever found of any destroyed vessels.

Really Freaking Classified

Several TASIP, TASIB, and TASIC class Dynatic ships were in the area and took care of the fleets of the Heirarchy during a number of the battles.

Current Whereabouts

Boot, sometimes known as Bandit, has not been positively identified anywhere, but many people have sworn seeing him driving an emergency vehicle or food truck or sharing a taco with former legend Tanaka Defanu. Some people have sworn seeing him in Knanqah Arena cheering on Crimson Dervish in a recent match where Darren took his first steps as a Green Ranked gladiator during Kyro's and Taku mysterious disappearance.

Really Freaking Classified

Boot is living out his life travelling throughout the Annulus and he has taken a strong interest in the plight of the CIS and the Rshast as well as the liberation of the Juunyar from the Rshast -- ultimately against the Heirarchy. It is well known that he generally disfavors the Heirarchy and detests the current Heirarchy leader, Palzak.

After the incident with the Cratif, he was disciplined by the Dynatic and Myxotar and sentenced to death for gross interference with other cultures and forcing the Dynatic to participate in a war it clearly had no business in (and, consequently, tarnishing the reputation of the Dynatic, violating Rule #1: We report the news, not make it), but Dynatic Section 84 intervened and somehow secured a SITHE (pronounced Scythe) for him and disconnecting it from all others making all Labryinth connections within the System impossible, effectively exiling him . His intent and purpose with Section 84 is unknown and only Boot and Section 84 knows what it is, but he is taking an active role, again, in the course of history of the sector and working against the plans, actively, against Palzak. He is desperately helping with the search for Kygrat, who Boot believes in the true leader of the Heirarchy.
